The Flexible Retirement Planner was created in 2006 by Random Walk Ventures LLC and has undergone several updates over the years. Random Walk Ventures LLC is committed to building and continuously improving financial modeling software that is powerful, flexible and easy to use.
Jim Richmond is the founder and President of Random Walk Ventures, LLC. He has extensive experience in the computer software industry, including management and executive positions at both large firms and startups. Jim is named inventor on a handful of computer networking and network security patents and was a participant in the development of the IEEE 802.1D and 802.1Q networking standards.
In addition to his work in the computer industry, from 2000 to 2010 Jim worked part time teaching undergraduate finance at a local college. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and an MBA. Jim is also a volunteer small business mentor at SCORE.
