Re: How to resolve Mac File Open or Save Issues

Update:
There is a way to run FRP without having to grant full disk access to the JavaLauncher app. Simply place the folder containing frp.jar, etc, in your user folder. I did this successfully on an Intel-based macbook pro running Ventura 13.1 and Java version 8 update 351.

Additional inputs question

On the additional inputs screen, in the additional cash flows section (bottom half of screen), should values in the inputs section change to reflect the content of a highlighted row? I seem to remember that happening at one time. It does not presently do this, which makes it cumbersome to edit just ...

Re: How to resolve Mac File Open or Save Issues

I was going to ask about running with frp.jar. The readme file has the text,"If the automatic install doesn't work or you'd prefer to do things manually, you can simply move frp.jar file somewhere and launch it..." Where is frp.jar? It was not part of the zip file I downloaded. Apologies f...

Re: How to resolve Mac File Open or Save Issues

I had to follow this procedure, but with a slightly different wrinkle. I was previously running an older licensed version of FRP standalone (v 04-02-02) using FRP.jar. Today I updated to FRP 04-04-01 using launch-frp-application.jnlp. It could not open my old .frp configuration file. Also, the file/...

Re: Problem launching 4.2.2 on Yosemite (mac)

Yes, that was a typo. Meant to type ".jar". And thanks for the edit. Just to be clear, for purposes of using the JAVA console I launch FRP via the .jnlp file. The JAVA console does not appear when launching FRP with the .jar file. Also, I do not have to "force quit" while waiting...

Re: Problem launching 4.2.2 on Yosemite (mac)

Apologies for the delay. It took me a little while to figure out the JAVA console, but once past that, this is what I found. The JAVA console provides the below text in blue. Unfortunately none of the debug features ("dump thread list", etc) function when the FRP window fails to appear. I ...

Re: Problem launching 4.2.2 on Yosemite (mac)

The OP did not reply, but perahaps the behavior I am seeing form my mac will shed some light, While I can run FRP on a Macbook pro running OSX 10.10.5 (Yosemite), it typically takes 2-5 tries before the FRP window appears. Updating to 4.2.2 changed nothing. I believe this started when I updated to Y...

Re: basic calculation question

doh! That's embarrassing. I actually did that calculation, but went too quickly and did not catch a (now) obvious mistake.

Thanks so much for your help, and the wonderful tool. Will proceed more deliberately from this point forward.
