Re: Button typeface readability problem on Big Sur MacOS stand alone FRP
Apparently Java version 1.8.0_321 fixed the cosmetic FRP button problem.
I guess that's Java version 8 update 321 for the MacOS.
But then again, I have upgraded my Mac OS too.
Now Monterey version 12.2.1, so there is that....
That was Jim's take.
Hurray.

Directory and .frp file access for MacOS
When running Java-based Flexible Retirement Planner, like FRP poster Fortitude (post of Mar 29, 2021 1:08 pm), I often experience Java not displaying .frp files (or subdirectories) inside MacOS file directories that actually have .frp files in them. Very frustrating. I consider this a Java file-acce...

Re: Button typeface readability problem on Big Sur MacOS stand alone FRP
Jim, As usual you're right, this time about the tab background artifact. It's apparently OS/Java specific as far as I can tell and therefore independent of FRP version 4.03.03. Here's how I wasted my time: First I fired up my wife's relatively new MacBook with MacOS Big Sur (running OS v 11.1, like ...

Re: Button typeface readability problem on Big Sur MacOS stand alone FRP
Jim, Yeah I noticed that the browser version rendered those as tabs instead of buttons. I just called them buttons because they didn't appear as left justified tabs so I assumed they were Java buttons. While I've got you: do you know the type face used for those Summary View/Detailed View tabs? I wa...

Button typeface readability problem on Big Sur MacOS stand alone FRP
To begin: this appears to be a different (and much less significant) problem than this post: https://www.flexibleretirementplanner.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1224 I've run into a small cosmetic problem with the MacOS version of the FRP stand-alone program. It involves the main window's Summ...

Exporting from MacOS, Catalina, 10.15 laptop using modified right-click trackpad function
Jim, Thanks for your hard work on this excellent tool. I searched the forum for the way to export csv data from a Mac in the Java-based, standalone application version of the flexible retirement planner (frp) and couldn't find a solution. The function is described in the frp forum as requiring a mou...
