Ok, thanks. So, I all is needed is to use a Roth Conversion cash flow type and it will auto-magically take care of taxes based on the other income tax rate entries?

Jim, I'm back to being confused about the proper inputs for Roth Conversions, and am hoping you can clarify the best way to handle the inputs. My confusion is based on: 1) Your post here in this thread stating that FRP accounts for the tax on Roth conversions, 2) But, I seem to recall that somewhere...

I've seen this, too, specifically related to having the .frp file on the desktop, and I think it's related to syncing with iCloud. In Finder, try going to iCloud Drive | Desktop and make sure there are no pending syncs. This has worked for me in the past.

On a Mac I think you have to go to System Preferences | Security & Privacy, where you should find a message asking if you want to allow opening the .jar file. Click yes and it should work.

Yes, I'm using Roth Conversion entries with 12% tax and one with 22% tax in the same year, and repeating with different amounts in subsequent years as base income assumptions vary.
