Can't see file structure

Hi,
I'm a long-time licensee, user, and fan.
Suddenly, FRP stopped being able to open my FRP files. I am running MAC OS 10.15.7.
- When I choose "open with" after right-clicking on an FRP file, and then choose "all applications" instead of "recommended applications," FRP.JAR is grayed out.
- When I launch FRP.JAR and then click "open," I am able to navigate to my Documents folder, but the program cannot see files or subfolders within the Documents folder.
I deleted the app and downloaded it afresh but no luck.
Any advice?

This seems to be a MacOS file permission problem that many users are reporting with multiple different apps.

Some people seem to have had success browsing to the .frp file with finder, and copying it to another folder or opening it with a text editor (it's just a text file) and then resaving it to a new file name.
