I have entered my wife's pension, my social security, and my wife's social security on the Additional Inputs screen.
I see there are functions to move the items up or down to change the order. Since I specify the start dates of each item, does it make any difference what order they appear in? I tried to arrange them in chronological order, but couldn't see any significant change by reordering them.
Thanks,
Anthony
Order of Additional Inputs Cash Flows?
Re: Order of Additional Inputs Cash Flows?
For cash flows, the order that they're listed doesn't affect the results of the simulation. The move up and move down buttons are there to allow the user to arrange the cash flows in a way that makes sense to them.
For the additional inputs rate table (upper table), the order is important. If there are multiple entries for a given rate type that overlap a given year, the value specified in the last entry is used.
