Flexible Retirement Planner Support Forum

Hello all,

I am using a MacBook Air running 11.2.1 (Big Sur). I cannot seem to save scenarios to my Mac... I click 'Save As' and get a message that "An error occurred while saving data to output file. Folder is write protected. Try again using 'Save As.'"

Not sure if this is a problem with the planner and Mac or my computer. Any other Mac users having trouble saving files?

I believe this is a problem with permissions between MacOS and Java.

I believe you can enable file system access for Java by going to
General Settings -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy

From there, add permission for the program "Java" to access to the file system folder in question.

That should do it, but I don't have access to a Mac to test it out. I have heard from other users who were able to correct this same problem with this fix, so it should do the trick.
